About Our Service
Used for long-term reduction or complete removal of unwanted hair.
Working Principle
The diode laser emits light at a wavelength of 808 nm which is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair follicle. This energy is converted into heat, damaging the hair follicle and preventing its regrowth. The treatment is repeated every 4-6 weeks.
It is suitable for all skin and hair types, but it is most effective on darker hair and lighter skin due to the contrast between the melanin in the hair and the skin. It is suitable for both men and women.
Pregnant women and people with certain skin conditions should consult a doctor before starting treatment. It is also not recommended to use the laser over tattoos.
Time and Number of Sessions
Achieving optimal results usually requires multiple treatments, as the laser targets hair in the growth phase. The number of sessions depends on the type of hair and the treatment area, but typically 6-10 treatments are needed. The duration of the treatment depends on the area being treated (whole body one hour).
Before and After Treatment
Before Treatment
The area should be clean and free of bronze or sun spots. The skin should not be treated with strong creams or self-tanning creams.
Shaving the treated area is recommended the day before the treatment to allow the laser to target the hair follicles more effectively.
Avoid sunbathing and the use of self-tanning products.
Avoid hair removal methods that remove the root (waxing or tweezing) for at least 5-6 weeks before the treatment. These methods can remove the hair the laser is supposed to target.
After Treatment
Avoid sun exposure (up to 2 weeks) and use SPF creams to protect the skin.
You may notice redness and swelling, but these usually disappear within a few hours to a few days.
It is recommended to use soothing creams or gels to minimize side effects.
The laser has cooling systems that reduce discomfort.
Body Areas That Can Be Treated
Various body areas can be treated, including legs, arms, bikini area, underarms, face, stomach, and back. The treatment is suitable for both men and women.
During the treatment, you may feel slight discomfort, similar to a tingling or stinging sensation, but most people find it tolerable due to the cooling system.
Maintenance
After a series of initial treatments, periodic "touch-up" treatments may be necessary for long-term maintenance of results, especially if hairs occasionally reappear.
The treatment should be repeated once a year.
